Why do I see a Request Access message when trying to view or edit a listing

If you see a “Request Access” message when opening a listing, it means your team member profile does not currently have permission to view or edit the specific listing, listing stage or listing type.

Permissions are set at several levels, including listing type and listing stage. Access can be restricted to your own listings, only listings you are linked to, all listings, or none.

This can occur if your team member role (software access level) does not include permission to view or edit that listing type or listing stage.

How to resolve this

To gain access, you can:

  • Click the Request Access option (if available), which will notify the relevant admin or management team member
  • Contact your office administrator or office manager to request access

Notes

  • Access permissions are managed at a role and individual team member level for security and data control.
  • Once access is granted, you will be able to view, edit and work with the listing based on your access level
