Progressing a Listing to Settled

This file will guide you through the steps on how to advance your listing to Settled in the database.

Info
Note in regards to Settled Listings sending to websites/portals:
If a listing has been made Available on a portal/website and automatic updates are then turned off, you must ensure that upon Settlement or Withdrawal, either:
  1. Automatic updates are turned back on before changing the listing status, or
  2. The portal is updated individually by clicking on Update next to the website name in the Websites tab
If the listing is Settled or Withdrawn and the update is not sent through to the portal/website, the listing will stay Available on that website.
  • Search for your listing using the quick search magnifying glass in the top right
  • Select your listing
  • You will see the Listing Stage ribbon, with your listing's status currently as "Under Contract" or "Unconditional"
Listing Stage Ribbon
  • Click on "Settled" as shown above
  • You will then be directed to the "Edit Contract" page
Edit Contract Page
  1. The What would you like to do? dropdown will already have Make Property Settled (Sold) pre-selected
  2. Refer to the Checklist on the right to confirm the details you need to complete
  3. Once these fields are completed, click on the green Save Contract button
  4. This Listing is now Settled
    1. If automatic updates are turned on in the Websites tab, the update will automatically be sent to all active portals (see Automatically Upload Listings to Websites/Portals
       for further information)
Alert
The Sold Date indicates the date the listed property was sold. This should be the date the sale contract was signed (eg, no more offers are being accepted) - not the settlement date
