Add an Inspection Time (Open Home) to a Listing

This help article will guide you through adding a new Inspection Time (open home) to a listing. You can add an Inspection Time from 3 places within the software: 1. from the main Inspection Times page, 2. from the Inspection Times tab within a listing, or 3. from the quick add menu

1. The Inspection Times page

  1. Hover over the Listings header in the main menu.
  2. Select Inspections.

  1. Click on the Add Inspection Time button on the right.

  1. Click into the listing field and start to enter the address - smart search will suggest listings below, click on the listing from here.
  2. Select the consultant who will be showing the listing.
  3. Select the date, start time and end time of the inspection.
  4. Actions - the plus/add button will add additional empty lines below that one you have just completed in order to add in more inspection times. The files button on the right gives you the option to duplicate this exact same inspection day and time for up to the next 4 weeks.
  5. Check the information entered is correct. As long as Automatic Updates are turned on for your listing, the new inspection time will automatically be sent through to all Active websites that this listing is featured on.
  6. Click on Save.

2. The Inspection Times tab on a Listing

  1. Search for your listing using the quick search magnifying glass in the top right.
  2. Select your listing.
  3. Click into the Inspection Times tab on the left.
  4. Click on the Add Inspection Time button on the right.

  1. Complete the Inspection Time form as above and click on Save.

3. Quick Add menu

  1. Click on the Quick Add plus button in the top right of your database.
  2. Select Inspection Times in the dropdown.

  1. Complete the Inspection Time form as above and click on Save.
  1. Saved Inspection Times will automatically upload to your website and any Active 3rd party portals as long as Automatic Updates are switched on for the listing (see Automatically Upload Listings to Websites/Portals).
  2. Past Inspection Times will automatically remove themselves from the listing on your website and 3rd party websites once the scheduled time passes. You can view past Inspection Times by changing the Future times dropdown to Past Times.
  3. If the Inspection Time does not show on the listing on your website (please note listing changes to your website can take a couple of minutes, and for 3rd party sites anywhere from 2 minutes to several hours depending on their processing times) double check Automatic Updates are not switched off in the Websites tab on the listing, and that the listing has not been marked as "Hidden". If updates are switched on and the listing is not hidden, contact our Support Team for assistance at support@arosoftware.com.
