FAQ: Why Can’t I Add New Trust Transactions?

Different Australian states have varying requirements for trust account reconciliation timing.

You should ensure your Trust account is reconciled monthly in accordance with your state regulations.
There is a  is a 7-day block on new trust transactions if the previous month’s reconciliation hasn’t been completed.

If last month’s trust reconciliation hasn’t been completed by the 7th day of the month:

  • You will not be able to add new transactions.

  • The date picker/calendar will be disabled for new entries.

  • The system won’t allow you to receive or spend funds in the trust account

How do I fix this?

Complete the trust account reconciliation for the previous month, 

For example:

  • If you are in August and cannot add transactions, ensure your July reconciliation is completed.

  • Once the reconciliation is done, the system will automatically reopen access for new transactions, including the date picker for the current month.


I’ve completed the reconciliation but still can’t add transactions — what now?
