Can I use the full version of Aro on an iPad?
Unfortunately, Apple's policies require all iOS apps that browse the web to use the built-in
WebKit rendering framework and WebKit JavaScript.
What does this mean?
Aro application development is based on using the most up-to-date web technology and is designed to run on and is supported on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
This ensures we can offer the highest level of compatibility and operational consistency across both formats. Many of the web technologies implemented in these browsers are not available in the iPad framework. As such, using Chrome or Firefox apps on an iPad still means that the underpinnings of the apps are based on Apple's WebKit rendering technology, which means we can't support or recommend the use of iPads for running Aro.
N.B - The app is optimised for iPhone screen sizes, but will load on an iPad.
