Adding a Contact to a Group

Adding a Contact to a Group

This article will guide you through assigning a client to a group. You should assign clients to groups so that they can be contacted based on their assigned groups. You will note a part of the group selection is a Subscription section, 'Subscribed',  means if you send a newsletter to that group, this person will receive it.

Sometimes though, you'll have a client that wants to be a buyer, for example, but doesn't want to receive any emails from you. To do that, just un-tick "Subscribed" to prevent that person from receiving emails.

If they decide they do want your emails later on, you can always come back here and tick the subscribe box again. To add a client in the software they must be subscribed to at least one group.
Warning
Australian law requires that you have consent from your contacts prior to contacting them via email. By subscribing them, you confirm that you have the consent of this contact to contact them via email.
