Why did I get multiple leads from 1 enquiry?

It can be confusing when you send in one enquiry and end up with several leads.

Here’s why that happens:
  1. Duplicate contacts 
    1. If the same contact is saved more than once in your system (maybe with slightly different details), the enquiry can match to each version.
  2. Similar email addresses 
    1. Sometimes multiple contacts shares the same email address. The system sees them all as possible matches.
  3. More than one match 
    1. If the enquiry includes details like a phone number or company name that match more than one contact, the system will create leads for each.

What you can do

  • Check the leads and consolidate all the email/phone/address to one contact.

  • Clean up your contact list so each contact only has one record.

NotesNote: If you archive duplicate contacts without removing the contact details first, the system will keep matching to them regardless.
