Why did I get multiple leads from 1 enquiry?
It can be confusing when you send in one enquiry and end up with several leads.
Here’s why that happens:
- Duplicate contacts
- If the same contact is saved more than once in your system (maybe with slightly different details), the enquiry can match to each version.
- Similar email addresses
- Sometimes multiple contacts shares the same email address. The system sees them all as possible matches.
- More than one match
- If the enquiry includes details like a phone number or company name that match more than one contact, the system will create leads for each.
What you can do
Note: If you archive duplicate contacts without removing the contact details first, the system will keep matching to them regardless.
