The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has introduced new regulations in an effort to protect Australians from SMS scammers. As part of this, the organisation we use to send SMSs through Aro now require all Sender IDs to be individually verified before they can be used.

To be able to send SMSs through Aro you will need to complete an online form confirming their details, info about how contact's subscription permission is obtained and the messages you will be sending. This form will need to be completed for each number you wish to send SMSs from.
