Using merge fields in proposals
Merge fields in Aro Software let you create proposal templates that automatically populate with the specific information.
When generating a proposal, using merge fields in your proposal template will save time and ensures each proposal is personalised and accurate.
For example, to insert their name you can use either first names [[ProposalOwner\FirstNames]] or full names [[ProposalOwner\FullNames]] merge fields . The merge field will automatically pull the customer's name from your database and insert it into the proposal.
You can use merge fields for many different types of information, such as the customer's company name, address, or specific terms of the proposal. See the table below with some of the more commonly used merge fields. Other options can be found under the Merge Field button in the Rich Text Editor.
