Using merge fields in email campaigns
You can personalise your bulk email campaigns by using merge fields in paragraph text sections.
For example, if you’d like to greet each contact by their first name, you can insert the merge field:
[[Customer\FirstName1]]
How to add merge fields
- When creating or editing your email design / template.
- Add a paragraph text section.
- In the paragraph text editor.
- Select the ellipsis (⋮) icon to open more options.
- Choose Merge Fields → Contact → Contact Details
- Select the merge field you’d like to use (e.g. First Name, Last Name, etc.) to insert into the paragraph text section.
When the email campaign is sent, each merge field will automatically be replaced with the recipient contact details, listing details, and more depending on the merge field used.

In test emails, the merge fields will be replaced with the example text listed below the merge field name e.g. First Name 1 = William
