Step-by-Step Setup Guide

1. Visit the ChatGPT Website:

   • Start by navigating to the OpenAI ChatGPT website. This is where you'll begin the process of integrating ChatGPT with Arosoftware.

2. Access the API Section:

   • Once on the website, locate the "API" section, typically under the “Docs” or “API” tab. This section is crucial as it contains all the necessary tools and documentation for integrating OpenAI with your software.

3. Create a Custom Named OpenAI Project (Optional):

   • If you wish to organize your integration, consider creating a custom-named OpenAI project. This step is optional but recommended for those managing multiple integrations or projects.

4. Navigate to the Dashboard:

   • After setting up your project, proceed to the OpenAI dashboard. This is your central hub for managing API keys, monitoring usage, and configuring settings

5. Access the API Keys Section:

   • On the dashboard, find the section labeled "API Keys," usually marked with a lock icon. This is where you’ll create the keys necessary for the integration.
     
   
   You can create as many OpenAPI keys as you need, but none of these keys will be valid until you upgrade your ChatGPT account to a Premium Subscription.

6. Create a New Secret Key:

   • Click on the option to create a new secret key. This key will be essential for linking OpenAI to Arosoftware.

7. Name Your Key:

   • Provide a name for your key to help identify it later, especially if you manage multiple keys or projects.

8. Select Your Project:

   • Choose the project you want to associate with this key. Ensure you select the correct project to avoid any configuration issues.

9. Set Permissions to All:

   • Set the permissions for your key to "All." This ensures that the key has full access to the features and capabilities of OpenAI.

10. Create the Secret Key:

    • After setting the permissions, finalize the creation of your secret key. The system will generate a unique key for your integration.

11. Copy the Key:

    • Once the key is generated, copy it immediately. This key will be used to connect OpenAI to Arosoftware.

15. Find OpenAI:

    • In the Integrations section, find and select "OpenAI" from the list of available integrations.

16. Click the Setup Button:

    • Click on the "Setup" button next to OpenAI to begin the integration process.

17. Paste Your OpenAI API Key:

    • In the setup interface, paste the API key you copied earlier from the OpenAI dashboard. This key connects Arosoftware with your OpenAI project.

18. Tick the Activate Box:

    • To enable the integration, tick the box labeled "Activate." This will activate the connection between Arosoftware and OpenAI.

19. Click Test Credentials:

    • Before finalizing, click "Test Credentials" to ensure the connection is successful. The system should respond with "Connection Appears OK!" if everything is set up correctly.

20. Click Save:

    • Finally, click "Save" to apply the integration settings. Your Arosoftware account is now connected to OpenAI, and you can begin utilizing the ChatGPT features.
