You can send emails to contacts from the Arosoftware mobile app using either the Aro Mobile App email editor or your phone’s email apps (e.g., Gmail, Apple Mail, etc).

How to send an email

1. Search for and open the Contact.

2. Tap the Email icon.

3. A pop-up will appear asking you to Create New Email in:

   • Arosoftware – opens the Aro mobile app email editor
     

   • Phone – select your device’s default email app(s)

Selecting Arosoftware will open the Aro Mobile app email editor, where you can:

• Confirm the Contact email address

• Select Show CC or open CC or BCC options (optional)

• Enter your Subject

• Compose your Message
  

• Merge fields can be used in the subject or email body but there is no option to select merge fields or email templates.
  

Once all options are set, the Send Email button will appear in the top-right corner of the screen.

You can also send an email from any screen where the contact name appears with an Email icon, including:

• Tasks

• Listings - 

• Leads

• Inspections
