Introduction

We're thrilled to announce that Arosoftware now supports the new REA Ratings and Reviews API integration.

With this new integration you can seamlessly import reviews left by buyers and sellers on your REA agent profile.  Arosoftware has made it easy to bring these valuable client testimonials into your Arosoftware account and automatically publish them on your website. 


Displaying authentic client feedback enhances your credibility and helps build trust with potential clients.

How it works

Using a similar process to the existing leads, listings stats integration between REA and Arosoftware we can now sync in your REA reviews.

Once the reviews are imported as testimonials they can either be auto published to your website or you can choose to publish them yourself.

Setup Questions

To setup this integration Arosoftware support will need a couple of questions answered:
  1. Import reviews from date (default is 2 years)
  2. Minimum Star Rating to import
  3. Do you wish to auto publish the synced testimonials to your website

Website Questions

REA have specific terms and conditions on how the synced testimonials need to be displayed on your website. To take advantage of this integration you may need to change the website component used to show your testimonials and display “ Ratings and reviews provided by realestate.com.au” to be compliant with the REA T&C’s. 

General FAQs

  1. Is there a cost involved?
    1. No, this will be added to your account free of charge.
  2. Can I edit a testimonial synced from REA?
    1. No, this is against REA’s terms and conditions.
  3. Will this pull through old testimonials?
    1. The date from which testimonials sync defaults to 2 years, however you can request this to be longer or shorter.
  4. Can I choose which testimonials to publish?
    1. The option to publish and unpublish testimonials is available on your testimonial page under setup, however this may go against REA’s T&C’s.
  5. What about testimonials on other platforms such as Google , Facebook, Rate My Agent, etc?
    1. At this time we do not have a connection to allow other platforms' testimonials to be imported.
  6. Will I be notified when a review is automatically synced into Arosoftware?
    1. You will receive a notification from REA when a review is submitted and once moderation is completed by REA they will sync across to Aro within 3 business days.

REA have a review moderation process and although reviews are generally published within 24 hours on business days, it can take up to 3 business days to be available to sync.
