How to use OpenAI (ChatGPT) Integration

Introduction: With the OpenAI integration set up in Arosoftware, you can now enhance your property listings and email communications with AI-generated content. This guide will walk you through the steps to effectively use the AI features within listings and emails.

Using OpenAI Within Listings

  1. Start by logging into your Arosoftware account and navigating to the specific listing you want to work on
  2. Once you’ve selected the listing, click on the "Edit Listing" button to make changes
  3. Scroll to the text box where you want to enhance the content, such as the property description
  4. In the text box, locate the AI box icon, which indicates where you can access OpenAI’s features:

  1. To create a listing description, click the "Generate Description" button. This will allow OpenAI to generate a description based on the base information you provide:

  1. You can remove or edit any parts of the generated description to fine-tune it before finalizing. This will serve as a baseline for OpenAI to work from:

  1. At the bottom of the text editor, there’s an option to include image content for suggestions. If selected, OpenAI will analyze the photos attached to the listing and recommend the best option for a main photo
  2. OpenAI will generate a brief description of the suburb, helping to attract more interest in the property by highlighting the location. If desired, you can include a suburb profile
  3. When OpenAI generates content, an AI Assistant Box will appear with the response. If you need to refine the text or request additional edits, you can type your instructions directly into this box:

Using OpenAI Within Emails

  1. Go to the "Send Email" screen in Arosoftware to start composing a new email
  2. In the email editor, click the AI button (often represented as a wand icon) to access OpenAI’s features:
  1. Begin by typing a basic version of your email. This will serve as the foundation for OpenAI to enhance
  2. Select the portion of the email that you want OpenAI to modify or improve
  3. Click the wand icon’s drop-down menu to choose what you want OpenAI to do, such as rewriting the text for better clarity or tone:
  1. If you prefer, you can insert a template that includes listing details

Note that OpenAI may not recognize Arosoftware’s Merge Field Format, so try to select text that doesn’t contain merge fields
