  1. Open the arosoftware mobile app.

  2. From the Dashboard, tap the three-line menu icon in the top-left corner to open the main menu.

  3. Select Settings from the menu.

  4. Tap on Caller ID.

  5. Update your database using one of the following options:

    • If you see the message "Caller ID database update available", tap the Update Now button.

    • Otherwise, tap Update Caller ID database.

This will prompt the app to download the latest contact Caller ID file directly to your phone.

How to Verify Your Caller ID File Version

You can verify that the download was successful by checking the Version number located at the bottom of the Caller ID screen.

The version format is broken down as follows:

  • The first 8 digits represent the date in reverse order (YYYYMMDD).

  • The remaining digits represent the specific file number.

Example: A version number of 20260501 - 123456 means the file was created on May 1, 2026, with the file ID 123456.
