How to Disable Automatic Updates to Feeds/Portals

This article will show you how you can manually select what portals/websites your listing is uploaded to.

When you have created a listing before you make it available you may want to make changes to it without it being uploaded automatically to your website and other portals/websites until you have finished editing.  Or you might not want the listing to go to all active portals and only select certain portals/websites manually.

NOTE : You must leave the property at the stage of Appraisal or Pending and do the below action prior to advancing to "Available" stage.

  • Search for the property, then select it from the list or the quick search.
  • On the left hand side of the property there will be a list of tabs, click on the Websites tab.

  • On the right hand side of the property under Settings you will see the below icon.

  • Click on Disable Automatic Updates.  This will save automatically when you click it.  You can turn it back on at any time by clicking Enable Automatic Updates.

Note: If a listing has been made Available on a portal/website and automatic updates are then turned off, you must ensure that upon Settlement or Withdrawal, either automatic updates are turned back on before changing the listing status, or the portal is updated individually (by clicking on Update next to the website name in the Websites tab). If the listing is Settled or Withdrawn and the update is not sent through to the portal/website, the listing will stay Available on that website.

Disable one portal only from updating

  • Now auto updates are turned off, you are able to Deactivate a specific portal and only keep the ones you want to upload to. Once you have Deactivated the portals you do not wish to upload to, you can then enable Automatic uploads on the listing again.
