How do I relist a rental if the tenant pulls out?

In normal circumstances, you can quickly relist a rental property using the relist function on the listing progress bar and it will go up to the websites as a new listing.

However, if a tenant withdraws from the lease before moving in, or pulls out quickly for some other reason, you may want to reactivate the original listing. If you use the relist option in this scenario, you may get an error back from Realestate.com.au

You can reactivate the original listing and most major portals won't charge again, if the listing has been off market (Leased) for under 60 days, it's best to double-check with the portals if you're not sure on your contract terms.

To reactivate the recently leased listing
  1. First, you will need to process the listing to the Withdrawn stage by clicking on the Withdrawn option on the progress bar and then give it a minute or 2 to finish the withdrawal process.
  2. Once all websites say "Uploaded Successfully", click the Pending button on the listing progress bar to move the listing back to Pending status.
  3. Edit your listing and make any updates or price changes as needed.
  4. Save.

Notes
Note: If the Pending option is unable to be selected at Withdraw stage, it means you don’t have permission to do this action. Please reach out to your admin or manager,  or contact  Arosoftware support for assistance.
