This will step you through Cancelling a Contract that is at the stage of Under Contract/Conditional or Unconditional. There are two places on a listings page that you can cancel a contract. Step one is the quick and easy option, however follow the second option if you wish to update any other contract details at the same time.
- Search for the listing using the quick search magnifying glass in the top right.
- Select your listing. Follow option 1 or 2 below.

- In the listing ribbon, click on the Cancel Contract button as below.
- This box will then pop up to confirm your choice.
- This will take the property back to the Available stage and update the portals (only if automatic updates are enabled, see Automatically Upload Listing to Websites/Portals)
- The contract will show within the Contracts tab on the left as Unsuccessful.

- Alternatively if you need to update details on the contract before cancelling it:
- On the listing screen, click on the Contracts tab on the left hand side.
- Click on the Edit pen on the right of the contract that you wish to cancel.
- You will now be taken to the Edit Contract page.
- In the What would you like to do? field at the top of the page, select Cancel Contract in the dropdown options.
- Edit any other fields you wish to update.
- Click on the green Save Contract button on the right.
- Choose whether you wish for the listing to be made Available again and the portals updated (only if automatic updates are enabled, see Automatically Upload Listing to Websites/Portals).
- This contract's status will now have updated to Unsuccessful.
