Can I include a PFD attachment in an email campaign

Email campaigns do not support file attachments, but you can include a link to a PDF in your campaign content.

Below are steps for two common workflows: upload the PDF to a listing (if it relates to the listing) or upload it to the Media Manager (for general PDFs), then insert the link into your email.

Option A — PDF related to a listing (upload to the Listing → Documents)

  1. Open the listing in Arosoftware (web).

  2. Go to the Documents tab for that listing.

  3. Upload the PDF file.

  4. After upload, locate the file in the Documents list and copy the file link / URL (there is usually a “copy link” or link icon).

  5. Open your Email Campaign and edit the campaign content.

  6. In a text section, highlight the text you want to turn into the link (eg. “Download the inspection report”).

  7. Paste the URL or use the editor’s Insert Link control to add the copied link.

  8. Save the content and send a test email to yourself to confirm the link opens the PDF correctly.

Option B — General PDF (upload to Media Manager)

  1. Open Media Manager. (under the setup cog)

  2. Upload the PDF to Media Manager in the folder you'd like to store it under.

  3. Find the uploaded PDF and click on it to open the preview options on right .

  4. Click on the download icon to open the file in a new tab and copy its link / URL from your browser tab

  5. Edit your Email Campaign.

  6. Insert the copied URL into a text section (as a hyperlink linked to text or image or paste the full URL).

  7. Save and send a test to verify the PDF loads for recipients.

Tips & Notes

  • Use clear anchor text (e.g., Download property brochure (PDF)) rather than pasting a long raw URL.

  • Always test the link by sending a preview to yourself and opening the PDF on desktop and mobile.
