Adding Text Content

Adding Text Content

This article will explain how to add Text and Text Buttons into your design.

How to add Text

Click into the Text tab on the left. Select the type of text you would like to add - we have created some pre-set Headings of different sizes (Note: the font size for each can be changed later on) and we have paragraph text for the main body. You can also add a button from this section:

We also have some template text layouts you can use. Just drag and drop your choice into place:

Unless you would like to use more than one column, you do not need to drag a single column into your email to start - simply drag in your text or image etc and the column row is created automatically behind this.
Once your layout or text box is in place, you can click on this to enter your content. The content is entered and edited over on the left:

On the left of the screen you can change the Test Style, alter the Alignment and change the Font Colour. Click on Show
Advanced Settings to see more text editing options:

How to add a Button

Clicking back into the Text Section, as mentioned you can also add a button into your content.

Drag and drop your button into place. Over on the left you can then edit the text on your button, and add the URL the button will take the user to. In the Style section on the left, you can change the button colour and the text colour, and also change it's alignment. Click on Advanced Settings to further customise the button:

In the Advanced Button Settings you can edit:
  1. The Padding - you can change the button width by increasing or decreasing the Left and Right Padding. Or change the height of the button by increasing or decreasing the Top and Bottom padding:
      =
  2. Border Radius - altering the border radius rounds the edges of the button:
     =
  3. Border Width - this is set at 0 by default, if you would like a border around the button increase this number:
     =
  4. Border Colour - change the colour of your button border:
     =
  5. Text Style - in this section you can change the Font Family, Text Size, make the button Bold, Italic or Underlined. You can also change the capitalisation of the text in the Transform dropdown, and adjust the Line Height below this (more for buttons that go over one line).
