Adding Photos and Floorplans to a Listing

This article will step you through adding photos and floorplans to your listings. There are two ways you can navigate to the Image Upload section of a listing. 

Note: Images must be JPG Files. Floorplans must be JPG, GIF or PNG files.
  • Search for your listing using the quick search magnifying glass in the top right.
  • Select your listing. Follow step 1 or step 2 below:
1. On the left hand side you will see a current main image or grey house placeholder image for the listing:
  • Hover over the image and you will see an edit pen in the top right. Click on this to be taken to the property photos edit page.


2. Click on the green Edit Listing button in the top right

  1. Click into the Property photos tab on the left.

Upload Photos

  • Click on the Upload Photo(s) button to search for the photo from your computer folders or simply Drop and drag photos into the section below titled Drag and drop photos here to upload.

  • Property photos must be JPG files. When the image selector opens, hold Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Mac) while clicking to select multiple photos.
  • To upload floor plans click on the Upload Floorplan(s) button. Floorplans must be in JPG, GIF or PNG format.
  • The photos you upload will automatically be set to display on your website and third party websites. If there are any photos you do not want to appear on your website, click on Show Image Details and untick the Display on Web? box for that photo (or multiple photos).

  • Photo Description: (Optional) Description text entered here may display over the photo on your website.
  • Alt Text: ( Optional ) description about image on your website for people that can't view the image. Adding ALT text may be beneficial for your website SEO.  Suggested format Room description + Address + type + (For sale or Lease) + eg modern kitchen  123 test st testville house for sale.
  • You can rearrange the order photos appear in by clicking on the hamburger menu for that photo and dragging and dropping it into place.

  • Once all photos have been added and sorted into order, click on the green Save Listing button on the right.

If a Floorplan file is not linking to a Floorplan button on your website, REA or Domain, double check it has been uploaded as a Floorplan using the Floorplan button, rather than as a Photo. Using these buttons separately ensures that floorplans are correctly labelled when they are sent through to third party sites.
