Adding a Video
This help article will guide you through adding a video to your email design. The video is a placeholder only, when the user clicks on this it will open in Youtube or Vimeo etc and count towards your total views.
How to Add a Video
- Click into the Image tab on the left of the email designer
- Click and hold the Video button and drag and drop this placeholder into position
- Copy and paste the video URL you would like to use (Ensure the video privacy settings are set to Public so that users can view it)
For Youtube videos, the designer will automatically use the first still from the video in the placeholder. You can edit this image if preferred, by clicking on the Change Image button and selecting another image in your Media Manager.
For videos from video platforms other than Youtube, the still will not be added automatically and will have to be selected manually as above.
