Add Region to your listing

Region is usually part of the property address (Suburb/State/Region) or a website search filter, depending on where you want it to appear. Most of the time you don’t manually create a region field, it comes from the address/suburb data of the listing.

Here are the common ways to add or change the region in a listing:

1. Add Region via the Listing Address (Most common)

  1. Open your Listing.

  2. Click Edit Listing.

  3. Go to the Address section

  4. Click Add Region

  5. Save the listing.

The region/suburb is automatically used by the website and portals when displaying the property.

2. Add Region for Website Search Filters (if your website uses regions)

If your Aro website groups listings by regions (e.g., North, South, Coastal):

  1. Go to Settings / Website Manager.

  2. Find Suburbs or Areas.

  3. Create or assign a Region/Area group.

  4. Link the suburb to that region.

This lets users filter properties by region on the website.

Note: Sometimes the website needs a new region page or search filter added. You may need to contact Aro support to create it for your website if it doesn’t exist yet.
