Add meta data and keywords to individual website pages
This help file will show you how to add Meta data and keywords to your website page to assist with you website SEO for search engine matches and rankings.
How to access page settings
- Click on the Settings Cog in the top right of Aro to open the Setup menu
- Click on Website Manager
- In the Site Pages list, click on the Settings Cog icon
on the page you want to update
- On this page you will see the below fields you can update
Page Name
This is the name of the page as seen within Arosoftware, a change to this will not affect your website. However please note changing the name also updates the page URL field which can have impacts on your website if there is anywhere linking to this page.
Page Title
This is the default Meta Title for this page which is used primarily by search engines, but it is also visible in the title bar of a browser when viewing your website.

Avoid using special characters in your page title especially : , / .
Page Description
This is the default Meta Description for the page which is used primarily by search engines.
Page Keywords
These are the default Meta Keywords for the page. Most search engines no longer use this meta data, but you can still add it in. Keywords or phrases should be separated by a comma and a space.
Once complete, ensure to click on Save Changes at the bottom of the page to save your updates.

If you can't see the Website Manager option under Setup menu, you do not have permission to access this part of the software. Please contact your manager.
