This file will guide you through activating external websites.
We've worked closely with most portals to make the experience as easy and seamless as possible and have set up a fully automated registration form, meaning you don't need to call, email or go to their website to register with them. Some websites/portals have different ways they need the set up to be done and want to be contacted directly.
- Go to any listing in your Aro Database (at any stage, Pending Available etc.)
- Click on the Websites tab on the on the left hand side
- You
will now see a list of Active, Available and Inactive websites.
- Active - these are the websites that your listings will automatically upload to.
- Available - these are websites which you have set up with but have to be manually selected when you wish to upload a listing to them.
- Inactive - these are the websites we can feed to but are not currently set up on your account.
- Scroll through the Inactive websites to find the one you wish to upload to. Next to each website there is a Notices column telling you what you need to do to join. For the Register now websites, you just click the button and fill in the pop up form. Arosoftware will then send that form to the relevant website portal with all your details.
- You
can start uploading straight away. Should the portal charge you to
upload your listings they will contact you prior to any listings being
shown on their website.
- Any external website that does not have Register Now option, you will need to either call,
email or sign up via the portals website. Once you have registered with
them they will send Arosoftware any necessary IDs and let us know when
they are ready for us to activate the website for you.
- If you wish to send any listings that were available in your program prior to activating, you will need go into each listing, go to the Websites tab and click on Activate and Update for that portal.
- If you have a lot of listings to push through you can contact our Support Team to bulk upload all your listings on your
behalf to your new portal. Simply send an email to support@arosoftware.com and
request a bulk upload to the relevant portal.
Realestate.com.au
To start uploading to www.realestate.com.au please submit a request to them through your REA admin account and inform them that you will be bulk uploading via Arosoftware (in your admin account, click into XML Feeds and submit a request for a new bulk uploader). Should you already have an account with rea.com.au, we can import Available, Under Contract and Settled listings from REA into your Aro database. Let us know if you wish to do this during your setup training sessions and we will guide you through the steps.
