Ability to Switch Users

This file will guide you through editing a team member in the system to be able to switch to their team member account from the software dashboard. This is useful for admin users in particular, when they need to see another team members notifications, send emails on their behalf etc.


To add the "Login on behalf of" feature to a team member account, follow these steps:

  • Click on the Settings Cog in the top right of your database to open the Setup menu.
  • Click on Team Members (under the Company heading).
  • Click on the 3 dots to the right of the team member you wish to update:

  • Click on Settings.
  • Click on the Permission tab on the left.
  • In the field called "Login on behalf of", select the team member you want to be able to switch profiles to.

  1. To add more than one team member, click on the plus button under Actions to add a new row.
  2. To remove a team member from the list, click on the x button under Actions next to their name.
When this team member is logged in, they will now see the below symbol in the top right of their database and can use this to switch between team member profiles:
